Katie began her hairdressing journey with Tufties back in 2004 as a junior and has since worked her way up to become our amazing Salon Manager. She runs a very busy column, but loves every minute of it — no two days are ever the same, and there’s always plenty of fun and laughter with the team.

Genuine, versatile, and endlessly passionate about hair, Katie’s attention to detail and warm personality makes everyone feel completely at ease. She loves creating natural, low-maintenance cuts and colours that are effortlessly beautiful, but she’s just as excited to go bold and creative when the mood strikes.

For Katie, the best part of her job is making people feel like the very best version of themselves, whether it’s with a haircut, educating or just being there to listen, she truly believes she has the best job in the world.

Outside of the salon: Katie’s world revolves around her two children — Lily, a budding gymnast, and Louis, a football star in the making — along with her husband, Scott (yes, they finally tied the knot!). Family time is everything for Katie, whether it’s cheering from the sidelines, weekend adventures, or just enjoying a bit of well-earned downtime together.
